Grassroots connection

Invest and prepare students for life. Click here for a look at key end-of session bills and background and context for Washington State PTA support for revenue.

Take Action

Please take action, and ask your legislators to support a budget that commits to 2009’s basic education funding plan (including support for the 24-credit career- and college-ready diploma) and that invests in evidence-based practices to turn around struggling schools.
The House and Senate are going into negotiations over budgeting. So far, the House proposal better aligns with and supports Washington State PTA’s top legislative priority. It puts more money into the "protected" program of basic
education. Take action and send a quick email here!
